A new chocolate bar has just made 10,000 children ill. Can its makers sweet talk their way out of trouble? Set in 1926 at an emergency meeting for the company’s Board of Directors.
This game can be played remotely on a video conferencing platform like Zoom or Facetime or by a group all gathered in the same space. It usually runs for around 90 minutes and is best for groups of 8 - 14 people. 8-13 people play characters (sometimes sharing the same character or playing two characters) and 1 person runs the game. If there are more than 14 of you or some guests don't want to play characters, the extra people can observe and accuse at the end instead. From the feedback we get, these observers still have plenty to entertain them.
The Chocolate Bar Mystery is mostly scripted but there is still room for people to make things up/improvise. With plenty of plot twists along the way, it provides an interesting and entertaining mystery to solve.
How long before I can start playing?
You should be able to download your game soon after buying it providing your Internet access is working OK and your virtual meeting is set up. If you want to start playing soon after, you should still allow around 15 minutes to get everything ready. Giving yourself more time and/or getting everything ready several hours or even days in advance will enable the game to run more smoothly.
Age Rating/Content Rating
There is no bad language or smut content in The Chocolate Bar Mystery but some of its characters are having affairs. Those attending will need to pay attention to what's going on, if they are to get the most out of it. This shouldn't be a problem for anyone 12 or older, because there is so much to entertain them. There is a chance children aged under 12 may become restless, though. So it's a game we think is best suited to those aged 12 or older.

You will still need to take care of the technical side but one of us will join you to play the big lead role and run the game for you. We’re based in the UK so this option won’t be available in every time zone. The price will vary according to how many of you there are, where you are and how long we are needed for. Expect to pay around £300-£350 per actor in the UK, around $450 in the US and elsewhere.
